The Secrets To Happiness
I have been pondering for a while about why I want to be an online marketer(i’m still a newbie!). First I came up with answers like “I wanna make money” or “I want a nice house/car/yacht etc)” or “I can spend more quality time with loved ones”. But what I’ve discovered at the end was that the ultimate goal of being an online marketer was really “Being Happy”.
Why do I want to make more money?? Because that will make me happy!!
Why do I want a nice house/car/yacht etc?? Because that will make me happy!!
Why do I want to spend more time with loved ones?? Because that will make me happy!!
Isn’t it interesting that all my goals in life end up with “Being Happy” as the ultimate answer?? It sounds like kindergarten stuff but I only just figured it all out now!! I’m not kidding!!
Then I started to look around people everywhere I go and I realized that many people are simply not happy. They always say things like: “When I make a million dollars I’ll be happy” or “When I have that new car I’ll be happy”.
The sad truth is that those people are almost never gonna be happy. What I believe is that even if they win the lotto they’ll still be unhappy from the inside!! They are most likely still have negative energies like fear, hatred, blame(and more) inside them and the money is just a cover up.
My understanding is that you need to learn to be happy to have true happiness. What I mean is that you need to build “muscles”…..the happiness muscles. Have you seen people around who don’t have all the material things but they are happy?? And have you seen people who have lots of materials possessions around them but they never look happy?? I’m sure anyone reading this knows what I’m trying to say.
So how about start building Happiness Muscles today?? Instead of waiting or pushing hard in life to achieve all our dreams and goals, why can’t we just be happier and sail through our life journey??
Here is a great video I bumped into a few days ago which I finally just clicked and had an AHA moment!! There are 9 timeless secrets to be happy in this video and I agree with them wholeheartedly. I truly hope you all can learn something from this great video as well.

It’s all about having a realistic perspective on life and being happy with your ‘core’ values.
Yes, we can all have aspirations that we think will make us happier, but we do have to live for the moment and need to and should experience happiness in our everyday lives.
Especially if you’ve got kids – you need to strive toward this happiness model to teach them to find happiness in their daily lives. If they grow with that attitude, all will be OK.
Crikey – I’ve just read that back and it looks a bit psycho babbly. Oh well, it’s how I feel about it.

Awesome!!!! all we need to do is to stop and shut up our mind and just relax and see what actually is happening in our life, where it is going and is it what we really want. I totally agree with you that the ultimate aim is to be happy, whatever we do no matter what it is; it is because it can bring us some happiness or in someway it will help us bring us happiness. But i thin happiness is within us its our true nature all we need to do is to look inside us and we will find all the happiness we are running after inside us.

Great post and a truly wonderful video, very inspirational. I think we all need to stop and examine our lives on a daily basis AND be grateful for EVERY single good thing in our lives. You don’t need to look far to find someone who is in a worse situation than what you believe to be the end of the world. Happiness is second nature to some people, it seems, and others like you said, appear to have it all, but still are not happy. Happiness is all about liking who you are as a person. If you don’t love yourself, anything that you ever attempt in life, will not make you happy. It really does come from within…your happiness muscle, so to speak. 
By the way, I too am in Rob’s class…you are one funny guy,!

A bit long video but they do have a great message which many tend do forget. On the other hand I like to preach that money can make you even happier because you can do more things you have always wished for, but if you are unhappy to begin with the money will not solve it for you.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I like to sometimes think of it this way – what if your doctor told you this week you have still 6 months of your life? What would make you happy? Once you have the answer to that question, just do it.

That was an excellent, inspirational video and thanks for this post. You’re absolutely right. To be happy where we are right now, in this present moment.
But I also liked where it said to do what inspires us as that will make us happy, too. I think that’s where internet marketing comes into play for some of us.
