Rich Schefren Presents Six Key Factors To Online Success
I’m getting back up and running now after I took a few days off with the loss of Lucky. Thank you for everyone’s kind comments and best wishes, you guys have helped me to get through a tough time!
There was a bonus session by Alex Jeffreys with guess speaker Rich Schefren. Alex described Rich Schefren as the “guru’s guru” as he mentored many other gurus in the past and most likely still do nowadays. During the call, I heard that his list of clientele includes Agora international, 1Shoppingcart, Jim Edwards, Willie Crawford, Marlon Sanders, Ryan Deiss just to name a few; and of course Rich Schefren also coached Mike Filsaime(who then coached Alex Jeffreys) if I heard him correctly during the live call. What an extraordinary list of clients!!
Rich Schefren presented his Six Key Factors To Online Success which was exactly the knowledge that I needed as I had been trying to piece the puzzles together myself for sometime now and Rich delivered them in one go!! What a time saver!!
The six key factors to online success are:
1. A business by design
2. Your entrepreneurial ability
3. Your ability to learn and apply
4. Your ability to create killer products rapidly
5. Your ability to partner
6. Your ability to manage
Without making this post like a thesis I’ll just share what I found was the most inspiring in my opinion and fits well with my own situation right now.

Rich described as he showed the blueprint above that It is critical to have as many of the green button areas to be taken care of by others. As a business owner starting to hire or contract people to assign each green box with the appropriate personnel(s), then the business will be able to run by itself and the business owner will be able to say I Am Free…..just like Rich Schefren himself.
The ultimate goal he said was that “I need to be replaceable”, otherwise the business owner is still stuck within the business and can end up having a situation where the business runs them instead of the other way around.
I’ll follow this blueprint to my own use and initially I’ll be the one assigned to every green button task as I’m just starting out and have to be the janitor myself, but eventually I can start replacing myself bit by bit and thus have more time to enjoy life. I understand the phrase “enjoy life” even more so since Lucky passed away last week and that “Life is too short”, so enjoy life while you can and do your best to set a business up in a way that doesn’t require too much attention and knowing that different staff members will take care of different tasks and eventually the whole business. A great example is that Alex Jeffreys himself has a help-desk with staff answering questions etc so he can free himself to plan his wedding and honeymoon. And if I heard that correctly too he just bought his wife(fiance) a brand new Audi without answering a bunch of emails and stuff.
Afterall, this site is called “Enjoy Marketing Online” not “Do Everything Yourself Online Trying To Kill Yourself” so I feel that I have to share this blueprint and the importance of Rich’s messages about running a successful online business.
Enjoy Life,
Huddson

Hey Huddson I would definitely like to see you blog more about that call.
I looked at all those boxes and my stomach sank a little… Good thing I read about the outsource part, it was a huge relief.

Hi Huddson,
This is a great little round up of what was said during Rich’s webinar.
I am actually taking the content he spoke about and using it to create a series of posts on my blog – it will save me having to come up with anything myself for a week or so, haha!

Hey Huddson,
Very informative post and you backed it up with some great graphics. Appreciated that very much and the insight into the six key factors was easy to read.
Your blog is really coming together and I’m glad to be in Starting With Marketing with you. I’m also sorry about the loss of Lucky, she sure was a cutie.

Hi Hudson,
Excellent diagram. That was the part that got me thinking.
I was really interested in the way Rich said that in order to be free, you need to automate your business.
And that requires breaking down each of the boxes in your diagram into a set of processes.
Once you understand each process, they can be either automated or outsourced.
Are you signing up for the founders club.

Hi Huddson,
Wow! That’s great. I wish that I could have been on that call. Mike Filsaime was there too – listening. Holy shmoly. If you can, do tell more. Pretty please. You are fortunate to have been included in that call. I envy you.
Thanks again,
